As a fan of "The Matrix" movies,  you might have unanswered
questions of your own about "The Matrix" trilogy.  If you read this
sci-fi novel, "The Quantum Matrix", you would probably find out a
lot more answers than what you have been searching for.
The Future Doesn't Need Us

"The future doesn't need us," Bill Joy from Sun Microsystem
expressed this message that appeared in Wired Magazine in
2000. He was terrified that eventually our silicon creations
would supplant us — as they do in such Sci-Fi films as The
Terminator and The Matrix.

Robert J. Sawyer also argued that the Artificial Intelligence
(AI) machines ... would never plan to overthrow their AI
masters.  What the AIs of The Matrix plainly needed was not
the energy of human bodies but, rather, the power of
human minds — of true consciousness.
The second quantum revolution

THE WORLD used to be a much simpler place. A hundred years or so ago,
we lived in a very normal, classical universe where everything made sense,
and nothing behaved strangely. Then along came quantum theory.

Suddenly, stuff didn't always behave as any rational person would expect.
At the funda- mental level of atoms and particles, things could be in two
places at once. They could even move in two different directions at once.
And it seemed they could also be entangled - engaged in a quantum
version of telepathy in which they are somehow able to sense and affect
each other instantaneously from a distance.
Military Robots of the Future

U.S. Joint Forces Command  is in the midst of a study focusing
on the concept of developing and employing robots on the
battlefield.

“The robots will take on a wide variety of forms, probably none
of which will look like humans,” explained Dr. Russ Richards,
Project Alpha’s director.

"Some will look like vehicles. Some will look like airplanes. Some
will look like insects or animals or other objects in an attempt
to camouflage or to deceive the adversary. Some will have no
physical form – software intelligent agents or cyberbots.”

Perhaps an even larger imperative is that the United States is
not the only nation that recognizes the future of integrated
battlefield robotics.
You would reach several philosophical conclusions through the
exciting journeys with our heroes and heroines who fight bravely to
save their city from robot attacks. Will they survive?

Are we actually living in a
3-dimensional illusory world ?

After many years of investigations in the field of conspiracy theories,
David Icke came to believe that our universe functions as a 3-D illusory
holographic model.

Based on the works of David Bohm , Karl Pribram, Michael Talbot and
many others, Icke builds the Matrix assumption: the matters is a 3D
illusion and our universe is the result of our collective web of
perceptions. Our subconscious mind connected altogether works as a
creator of perceptual fields.

.... It is a nice journey through the life of quantum particles.
QUANTUM  MATRIX
EXTRAORDINARY CONTACT
The
..Life as a human being, is it real ?

Your mind (Spirit) is not bound by and into a "material"
body. It is only bound by and connected to the physical
senses that make you aware of a physical reality.

Time and space exist only within the Universal Mind. The
Universal Mind is not separated from us, and we are not
separated from It. Since everything interconnects through
thought, thought is the only reality that can bridge space
and time.

The construct to The Matrix of life is pure light and the
modulating factor is information or thought. As a matter of
fact all light is vibratory thought; all light is like what we
create when we dream. Vibratory light is light vibrated by
sound, manifesting as the material or biological world as it
is decoded by our brains.

All we are is but wonderful Holograms of pure light,
interfacing with Creative thought, who believe in a material
reality because our senses fool us, by the rules of The Matrix
into perceiving that a solid world exists "out there."

Kristine Tesla is a teenage girl whose destiny
leads her on a miraculous adventure to travel
three worlds: the virtual world, the real world,
and the world beyond.

She is an ordinary girl who is struggling alone
in her world. Suddenly, an unexpected event
forces her to run for her life—she is being
chased by the police and terminators who
want to kill her in order to keep their secret.

She is shocked to find out from Captain Ross
that she has been living in a dream state of the
virtual world controlled by robots after the
robots have won the world war over humans.

With the help of Captain Ross, Kristine
journeys to the real world which frightens her
even more because it is under attack by the
larger and much more powerful Robot Empire.
In a race against total destruction, the last
scientific society of humans searches for the
keys of knowledge to win the upcoming war.

Their search accidentally leads to the
discovery of the mega secrets of their real
world and its underlying metaphysical
dimension. Humans may have a chance to
discover the most important secrets that have
been lost for millions of years.

Just when it seems as if humans have no
place to hide or to escape certain annihilation,
they encounter extraterrestrials who reveal
secrets that can either save them or destroy
them along with other beings in the multiverse.

Will this extraordinary contact destroy
mankind, or will it lead to their survival and the
discovery of the Quantum Matrix, the last
dimension of empires?
Philosophy books on the Matrix Movies / Film Trilogy
"Taking the Red Pill: Science,
Philosophy and Religion in The
Matrix"
edited by Glenn Yeffeth

This is the most philosophical among the books so far published
that offer a critical analysis of The Matrix, including its important
philosophical content.

“Yeffeth has assembled a top-notch selection of articles. Overall,
the tone of the book is several steps above typical gushy movie-
related writing, like making-of books; in fact, this book would be
quite appropriate for an introductory university-level course and
perfect for anyone studying philosophy through science fiction.
... Taking the Red Pill is a worthwhile collection of essays, a book
of surprising depth," reviewed by James Schellenberg.

Anne Weeks has a review, “Speaking from neurology to physics,
Lloyd brings out the best of the geekness in anyone who
appreciates the sci-fi aspect of the film.”

Wendy Grossman wrote, “My favourite is Peter B. Lloyd's effort
to rationalise the apparent inconsistencies in the technical
workings of the Matrix itself.”

Ray Kurzweil's wrote, "The human machine merger: are we
heading for the The Matrix" and Peter Lloyd wrote, "Glitches in
The Matrix and how to fix them".

David Gerrold wrote a straight-forward introduction to the film
“The Matrix” and the reason for having a philosophical book
about the Matrix.

Mercer Schuchardt wrote, "What is the Matrix?" which is a
magisterial account of the Matrix and its significance in the
popularization of serious philosophy.

Robin Hanson wrote, "Was Cypher right?  Why we stay in our
Matrix".  Hanson draws a strained analogy between the virtual
world of the Matrix and the emotional and conceptual world
created by our 'selfish genes'.

Lyle Zynda wrote, "Was Cypher right? The Nature of Reality and
Why It Matters". This is an intelligent analysis of the  metaphysics
of the Matrix, but it doesn't quite get the crucially relevant
philosophy of Bishop Berkeley right.

Robert J. Sawyer wrote, "Artificial intelligence, science fiction, and
The Matrix".  Sawyer brings some interesting historical
perspective to bear on the Matrix movies.  He also makes some
acute comments on consciousness and the role of humans in the
Matrix.

James Gunn wrote, "The reality paradox in The Matrix". This is
excellent source material for anyone researching ideas related to
The Matrix throughout the long history of science fiction. Gunn is
well-informed on his subject.
"Taking the Red Pill: Science,
Philosophy and Religion in The
Matrix"
edited by Glenn Yeffeth

Dino Felluga wrote, "The Matrix: Paradigm of post-modernism or
intellectual poseur? (Part I)".  He presents the intriguing discussion
of how the plot of the sequels will develop. After seeing Matrix
Reloaded, his suggestion of a higher Matrix that contains the world
of the Nebuchadnazzer, and in which the human rebellions are
preprogrammed, or prefigures.

Andrew Gordon wrote, "The Matrix: Paradigm of post-modernism
or intellectual poseur? (Part II)". This is the best introduction I've
seen to the bizarre theories of Jean Baudrillard, author of Simulacra
and Simulation, and their relation to The Matrix.

Peter B. Lloyd wrote, "Glitches in The Matrix ... and how to fix
them". The author originally gave this piece the bland but more
descriptive title "The technology of the Matrix". Starting from the
hypothesis that everything we see in the film is true, what could we
infer or plausibly guess about the underlying technology?

James L. Ford wrote, "Buddhism, mythology, and The Matrix".  It
has become a commonplace that the film contains allusions to
numerous religious traditions. The only way to assess the
significance of each such religion in the film is by carefully analyzing
the film from each perspective. This is a calm and clear exposition of
the basic ideas of Buddhism, and as good an analysis of The Matrix
from a Buddhist perspective as one can hope for. As becomes
apparent in this essay, the film actually has very little in common
with Buddhism for the killing acts in the Matrix film.

Peter J. Boettke wrote, "Human freedom and the red pill".  Boettke
misreads the film as claiming that the people in the Matrix have a
completed determined and scripted life. In fact, they have free will
and interact fully with fellow human beings. Only the physical world
is virtual; other people are real in the Matrix. Boettke uses this
incorrect reading to launch an imaginative but mistaken
interpretation of The Matrix as a defense
of right-wing politics.

Similarities to the Virtual World of "The Matrix" Trilogy
What is an eBook ?

In computing, an e-book (for electronic book:
also eBook, ebook) is the digital media equiva-
lent of a conventional printed book. Such
documents are either read on personal compu-
ters, or on dedicated hardware devices known as
e-book devices or e-book readers.

Another definition is as follow: eBooks are books
that have been converted to digital format.
eBooks are ordered online, and delivered electro-
nically to your computer. You save money with
no shipping, no taxes, and the lowest prices.
eBooks have many features that traditional paper
books do not have; for example, a feature like
resizing the pages and text. eBooks offer a new
dimension to the written word, allowing books to
be distributed and enjoyed so much more easily.

eBooks are real books.

Although the name of eBook comes from
electronic books, the actual meaning of eBooks
cover all aspects of real books because the real
meaning of books aren't limited only paper, print
and binding. Books are the inspiration and
perspiration; the ideas and concepts; the love and
labor of people who have to communicate with
others. Paper is nothing more than the way many
of those books are packaged and delivered. As
you know, in ancient days letters were carved in
stone, or painted on Papyrus, animal skin, and
wood. The most important thing is the idea that
the author wants to express and communicate to
the readers.

Because we believe that the convenience and
portability of an eBook should match or exceed
that of the conventional paper medium, we
continue to focus on the extended capability of
computer to provide new features for reading an
eBook and at the same time having as close and
similar feeling as reading from paper books.
Although the fundamental reading experience
between an eBook and a conventional paper
book is the same, there are special benefits of
eBooks not found in paper books.

.......Three policemen and two strange-looking
beings took the elevators. The remaining police-
men, carrying heavy weapons, ran up the
stairway to the thirteenth floor of the apartment
building as if they wanted to close in on the
suspects without letting any of them escape.
They approached Kristine’s apartment carefully
and stopped in front of the door marked “Room
1305.”
.......But why should the policemen be after me?
Maybe they’re after the street gang?
Kristine
asked herself. Her questions were answered
almost immediately when three loud knocks hit
her apartment door.
.......“Police! Open the door, Kristine!”
.......Kristine shouted into the phone, “The police
are here and want me to open the door! What
should I do?”
.......“Don’t open the door, Kristine. They will kill
you.”
.......Kristine was so confused. She did not know
what to do and whom to believe. She did not
want to answer the door. She wanted to run, but
all she could do was take a few steps backward,
away from the door. Her body was trembling
with fear.
.......“Police! Open the door, Kristine!” shouted
one of the officers again. “Police! Open up!”
.......After a few seconds, having given no reply,
Kristine heard the doorknob as it was twisted
and broken with tremendous force. The door
was still closed, and the policemen could not
get inside her apartment although they tried,
pushing the door hard and banging against it
several times.
.......Thank God I put on those extra dead bolts.
She thanked the two metal dead-bolt locks that
she had installed on the door last month to
prevent intruders from breaking into her
apartment. Nevertheless, she was trembling
more and more.
.......Kristine’s thoughts raced. She feared both
the police outside her door and the stranger on
the phone. Her rational side told her to let the
police in. They are policemen. They would not
hurt innocent people.
.......But just then, she heard gunshots as
several bullets hit the wooden door and the
frame. She was paralyzed and dropped the
phone.
The police are trying to shoot their way
in! There must be something wrong!
thought
Kristine.
I should have believed Captain Ross!
Is it too late? Am I going to be shot by the
police?
.......Kristine picked up her phone. “Please help me,”
cried Kristine. “Somebody, please help me!” But
there was no answer from the other end. She lost
both her hope and her strength, letting the phone fall
from her hand to the floor again.
.......Trembling, Kristine edged toward the window,
now the only way out of her apartment. There was no
fire escape, just a thirteen-floor drop to the street.
There was nothing to hold on to if she wanted to
climb down, and the wall was slippery with ice and
snow. She trembled at the very thought of it. She
couldn’t climb down. She murmured to herself,
“What should I do?”
.......Kristine looked in desperation to the cloudy sky.
Suddenly, she was surprised to see two small dark
objects flying in the air passing through the falling
snowflakes as they moved toward her. The two
objects grew larger and larger until she could tell that
they were two human figures. They were headed
toward the windows of her apartment!
.......Terrified, Kristine stepped away from the window.
When they were close to the windows, she closed
her eyes and prayed. A second later, one window
exploded with a loud bang, then another, and she
was showered with broken glass and window
fragments.
.......She thought, The policemen must have broken
into my apartment through the windows. I am going
to be shot any second.
She didn’t dare open her eyes.
.......“Kristine, I’m Captain Ross.”
.......Kristine was relieved. She opened her eyes and
saw a man in a dark military uniform with a short
machine gun strapped to his waist. His face was
calm and friendly as he approached her quickly.
......She wanted to swoon. It was like something out of
the movies, except that he wasn’t just handsome. He
was beautiful! And he had come to save her.
.......Then Kristine realized that he was talking to her.
“Let me put this harness on you.” He held up
something made out of heavy webbing with buckles
on it.
.......“We have to get out of here as soon as we can,”
said Captain Ross. He quickly put the harness on her
back and then managed to get her arms through the
sleeve holes. He wrapped the two front pads around
her chest and secured them with all three buckles.
Kristine noticed that it looked like a parachute pack
but without a parachute.
.......It was only then that Kristine noticed the second
soldier, a woman, who had crashed through the other
window. She held her machine gun in a tight position
with one knee down on the floor and started firing
continuously at the apartment door. As one clip of
bullets emptied, she quickly replaced it with another,
and cartridge cases were soon scattered all over the
floor.
.......Kristine heard the shouts and cries of policemen
on the other side of the apartment door. The other
policemen jumped back to remove themselves from
the bullets’ trajectories. As long as the fusillade
continued from inside the apartment, the police did
not try to fire back or to break down the door.

Great fun to read this book

First, I think the book is well suited for young fans of science fiction, as I imagine that as a young
teen (or "tween"), this book would have been great fun to read. I think reading about the Quantum
Matrix would likely encourage the reader's appetite for more of this kind of science fiction.

Second, I think young people are eager to read stories that address topics like people versus
robots, real worlds versus virtual worlds, and real worlds versus other ethereal worlds. This book
has them all.

Third, the book is easy to read, which makes it suitable for readers new to science fiction, rather
than people who are deeply immersed in different science fiction sub-genres.

It was a bit refreshing to read something more entertaining.

Fantastic Book!!! A Must Read for all ages

This is now one of my all time favorite books. I am not a big Sci-fi reader, but I absolutely love this
book and think that it's a great read for readers of all levels and interests. I got this book right
before I took off for a 15 hour plane ride and am so glad I did. This book kept me completely
entertained and made time fly by. It has been a while since I read a book that I couldn't put down.

I strongly recommend this book to all readers. It's fast paced, exciting, imaginative and leaves the
reader looking for more. I can't wait for my next installment from P. K. Swan. I'll be first in line
when P. K. Swan's next book comes out.
