P.K. Swan is the joint pseudonym of three authors in
the same family: a brother, a sister, and a father.
Paul worked on this sci-fi novel with his younger
sister, Kris, while they were both undergraduate and
graduate students at University of California, Los
Angeles (UCLA). They asked their father, Dan, to join
them as a team member. Their father was a graduate
from University of Southern California (USC). They
worked together for about three years exchanging
ideas, jokes, and arguments on issues in the book,
including the philosophy of people of New Hope City
and the mysterious Extraordinary Visitors.
Both Paul and Kris studied in electrical engineering
and computer science and received their master
degrees. They contributed their knowledge and
visions about computer and robotics in this novel.
Dan also had extensive computer programming
experiences and military background for twenty
years. Dan received a doctoral degree with
dissertation on the Knowledge-Based Expert System
that enhanced the Artificial Intelligence capability to
the computer software. He spent the last ten years
researching in paranormal experiences and Meta-
physics. Dan practiced meditation regularly for more
than ten years. He contributed his view on
philosophy, military and war fighting scenarios, as
well as perspectives on human happiness.
The authors want to tell you their wonderful science-
fiction story --- full of scientific imagination, powerful
action, provocative philosophy, and the influence of
religious beliefs and faith on a variety of human
characters.
After re-writing the book several times, the authors
are very happy to have completed two episodes of
their novel, "The Quantum Matrix". The first episode
of "The Quantum Matrix" novel is 'Extraordinary
Contact', which will be followed by the second
episode, 'The Last Dimension of Empires'.
